This Privacy Policy describes how the Belle application (“the App”) collects, uses, shares, and retains your personal data, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described below.

2. Data we collect

a) Photographs

• 2D photographs (selfies/portraits, photos of skin, hair, or outfits) taken with the device camera or imported from your gallery when you start an analysis.

Important: Belle does not collect biometric data. The App does not generate or store any facial imprint, facial geometry template, or facial recognition model. It is never used to identify or authenticate a person.

Face data not retained: Belle does not retain any biometric face data (faceprints, facial geometry templates, or facial recognition identifiers). No facial data is retained for identification purposes.

b) Attributes derived from the analysis

From your photos, the AI generates non-identifying descriptive attributes that we store, for example: harmony score (0–100), face shape, symmetry, feature balance, undertone, seasonal color, color palette, makeup and hairstyle recommendations, and editorial text.

c) Account and usage data

• Account identifier (anonymous or authenticated account), preferences, language.
• Routine data, scan history and progress (Glow Score).
• Messages exchanged with the conversational assistant.
• Minimal technical data necessary for the operation of the Service.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Analyze your photos to provide personalized beauty recommendations (face shape, colors, makeup, hairstyle, Glow Score) — legal basis: explicit consent, collected before any capture.
